The clip reflector is meant to be attached along the row of buttons or at the pocket hem of a coat. It can also be attached along the bottom hem of a coat or at the bottom sleeve, but then you have to make sure that the fabric is thick enough so that the clip won't slide off. Works perfectly on a wool coat, for example.
You can also attach it to the strap of your handbag or purse.
